Overview
This course is appropriate for both the newcomer and the more experienced practitioner. Robert Doane will give a scientific explanation of acupuncture and why acupuncture works. He will also explain the term “Qi” according to the Huang Di Nei Jing. Students will learn the pros and cons of Distal Needling Acupuncture℠ (DNA℠) and how to successfully treat pain using distal acupuncture. A thorough explanation of Imaging and Mirroring Concepts of the body will be given. Robert Doane will interact, diagnose and treat patients using distal acupuncture. He will be working with case studies and again explain the concept of DNA and associated point prescriptions. Pains in the upper body (neck, upper back, shoulders, fingers, hands, face and chest) and in the lower body (lower back, thighs, feet, ankles and abdomen) will be covered.
