Overview
This course is for beginners and newcomers to the Distal Needling Acupuncture℠ (DNA℠) method as well as the experienced DNA practitioner. A scientific explanation of acupuncture as well as differences between distal and local needling will be given. An in-depth description of DNA strategies will be covered. The concepts of longitudinal muscle distributions, imaging concepts and mirroring concepts will be discussed. DNA point prescriptions for pains in the upper and lower body will be given. To deepen the understanding of DNA, case studies for specific pains will be included. DNA for the following pains will be covered: headaches, neck and back pain, facial, chest, abdominal and groin pain, arm and leg pain.
