The Office: MPD® – The Cun and “Turning-The-Key”

    Herbs & Notes:

  • Bob’s Cun is slightly more distal from Dr. Chang’s Cun position. Jimmy’s is equal distance btw scaphoid bone and radial styloid; whereas Bob’s is 2/3 towards the scaphoid and the finger is turned (rotated) distally a bit – “Turning the key principle” – which makes it indicative for sinuses and the heart (distal = atria, proximal = ventricles)
  • One can use the Yin Wei and the Yang Wei as a landmark
  • Many people are putting their finger on the yin Wei and mistake it for the cun!
  • Turn the finger distally a little bit, so that it falls into the cun hole. – “Turning the Key Technique”
